PHOTOVOICE SEBAGAI ALAT KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP PENGALAMAN TRAUMATIS PENYINTAS BENCANA ALAM DI PALU

Bencana alam adalah kejadian yang memunculkan pengalaman traumatis dan sering sulit untuk diungkapkan secara langsung, terutama bagi para penyintas di Palu. Oleh karenanya, penting untuk dikomunikasikan lewat metode yang lebih kreatif namun dengan tetap memperhatikan unsur terapeutiknya. Salah satu cara itu adalah seni fotografi. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran Photovoice sebagai alat komunikasi terhadap pengalaman traumatis pada penyintas bencana alam di Palu. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dan teknik analisis data yang menggunakan analisis tematik. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para partisipan menceritakan pengalaman traumatis dan dampak yang dialami dan dirasakan berdasarkan penggambaran terhadap foto. Peneliti juga menegaskan bahwa penggunaan Photovoice memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mengkomunikasikan pengalaman traumatis dan dampak trauma bencana alam dari perspektif para penyintas bencana alam di Palu. Implikasinya, Photovoice dapat memotivasi para pembuat kebijakan dan masyarakat tentang signifikansi pemberlakukan program pemberdayaan, advokasi sosial, dan pembangunan pascabencana alam
